how was today?

I was called-up to do a turnaround flight to Denpasar. It was ok. The first SIN-DPS was much smoother and better than the second one. Some of the people *ehm ehm...I mean those who was seated throughout the whole journey* really tested my patience.

I am sorry Sir but I am not deaf. You did not have to shout at me.
I am sorry Mam for not having your main course selection. But you did not have to show me your 'attitude', simply because I can't find any 'beef' on board NO MATTER WHAT.

Cheers to pain legs.... and tired body and soul.

Off again to Saigon tomorrow.

Awh...I met the same family who took our flight from HK-SIN on my first solo flight. It was a nice coincidence. He still remembers me too *hahaha.... happy happy.

Aye...Xmas xmas xmas

Dear Santa,

I know I have never written to you for the past 23 years. This will be my very first time, I hope you understand though.

This is my first time spending Christmas all by myself, no family members, no friends whom I've known for months or even years, just super nice colleagues in Perth. It wasn't a glamorous celebration either, it was more of a quiet one. No eye-catching bling bling deco, no repetitive Christmas jingles, no big sale as in Singapore or some other cities *I am sure*. No turkey, no champagne, no eggnog, none. Just a simple Doner Kebab plus fries and Pepsi that cost me 9AUD accompanied by FoxTV.

Well... anyway, my point is ...
I have been good this year. I do.

So, are you coming?

Merry Christmas Santa...Merry Christmas everyone!
Love is in the air heee...

I am back to Seoul...

I am back from Seoul..yeay yeay yeay.
Another holiday for me and I am so happy I got to meet my friends there: Won, Eddie oppa, Patrick and Andrew. Sadly a few of them were not present...but still I had a great time. Thanks to Won for arranging everything.
Without him as our guide, we probably ended up ONLY at Namdaemun, Dongdaemun or Myoungdong. But we went to Dongdaemun, Namdaemun, Myoungdong and Insaedong. We also went to visit some other places along the way... which I don't know what is is called haha.
The thing is it's too cold for the two of us that our fingers were numb and we couldn't help but to start laughing to keep ourselves warm a little. Unsurprisingly, for them this is pretty warm compare to some other days. Well... for us... this is more than enough.
As predicted, the things in Korea is costlier than Taipei, so I did not shop as much. I wanted to buy a winter coat (one that can really keep me warm), but well.... my purse can't afford it -__-''
Anyway...pics speak louder than words...here they are:

Things you find in Korea (L-R, clockwise):
1. A Santa hanging on a building...cute heh!
2. A whole building for a cafe. Here is Coffee Beans, but they also have for Sta*bucks and other cafes. It is actually quite normal in Seoul *hm...wondering if it's really profitable
3. A roadside stall which sells hand-made book specially designed by the artist. So nice...huhu
4. Another marketing act. Seen here 2 guys rapping and singing at Myongdong, trying to sell shoes. Cool...hehe
5. A traditional performance by an ajushi at Insaedong. Ck ck ck... it's so impressive.

The guard-changing procession at one of the 'gate/wall'... so lucky wor!

A free hug campaign at Insaedong. So random yet my first time participating in this campaign. Heny was shocked coz we simply hugged a stranger. Finally, she understood the campaign and she hugged another Free-hug girl :)

Insaedong. A nice cozy area that is more 'traditional' with its artistic shops

A fit and healthy ajushi was seen at Ssamziegil centre softening the rice-cake dough.
Another marketing act to attract buyers.

He said, "Don't just stand there and take pictures...buy the rice cake" Hahahaha..

This is the cool Ssamziegil centre...no elevators but you just walk up and up and up

Won brought us to a nice traditional tea cafe.
WOWWW.....

Finally, I got to meet Patrick and Eddie oppa again...
yeay yeay yeay yeay...

At city centre where there're Xmas lights and decoration.
They even played Xmas song and it was simply beautiful.

I want more of taipei

Seriously, this Taipei trip beats my Narita one.

Simply because we are just so so so so lucky... L-U-C-K-Y!

1. We are the ONLY ones who stayed for 3 days 2 nights. The rest only had a night.

2. We had a FULL one off day for us to go around, not to mention the additional evening and morning before we flew back.

3. We are the last ones who had this 3-day schedule. No more 3 days *muahahaha

4. Sheraton Taipei Hotel is fabulous. The bathroom is almost as big as my room, can you imagine that?

5. It's just a right coincidence. We went to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall on our 2nd day morning. We saw a few of TV stations' vans parked on the roadside and so many people taking pictures of the wall. Wazzup??

Apparently, the government is changing the name to a I-can't-remember-what-it-is-as-long-as-it-doesn't-relate-to-Chiang Kai Shek-as-I-was-told. So, we took quite a few pictures and even a cameraman took shots of us ^^. In the evening on our way home, we saw the protest from the cab. Wow... and now the place is closed for 3 days.... well, thank God we managed to take pics before they changed the name. So lucky heh!

6. The trip was simply full of FOOD and SHOPPING. Everything is freakingly cheap ler... (disclaimer: compare to Spore)

7. The people are much nicer than HK people. Not so many of rude shopkeepers...not so many shoutings and arguments.

8. We met up with Heny's friend, Agus and his friend, Handy. We laughed our heads off... simply cracked jokes while sitting on the roadside with a pack of snack. Dang...reminded me of my hi-skul period. It was truly a holiday!

Thanks much Agus, Handy, Heny, ... for making this trip a beautiful memorable one.

At Wu Fen Pu (a.k.a: Pancoran in Jakarta), full of shops and shops and shops.
Too bad no price tag for most of them, so well.... tourists usually end up paying more
*but still cheap haha

Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall :)

At a park with my buddy, Heny

You guys are crazee!
Handy, Heny and Agus *thanks much

Why do I love Japan?

Breakfast at Mister Donut... yummy!
The hot choco really helps to fight the cold :)

It's all about food.... and food.... and food.... and arghhh....
and food.... still!

Okonomiyaki set for lunch...*slurpee...
Soup, salad, squid okonomiyaki, gyoza, fruit and green tea for merely 1300Yen... wahaha

Gosh...tons and tons of candies, toys and cute small lil things... so irresistible!

Now you know why I always complain that I AM broke!!

add up with stylish, well-groomed ehm ehm...boys :)
plus... awh-so-nice environment and culture

LOVE IT!!
Let's see how Taipei rules tomorrow...
