Again, I was lost on my way to STC. The intention to try taking bus to go there ended up with me taking a cab down from...... HOUGANG!! Say bye-bye to my S$12,-
Met some people from my 928 batch today. All foreigners thus far, so we shall wait till Monday to find out how many Singaporeans we have in our batch. 4 beautiful Chinese girls, 2 cute Malaysian girls, 2 friendly Malaysian guys and 3 Indonesians. So far so good... I like them and I think we will have a great fun together *fingers cross
Collected my E-pass today (have yet to figure out how to get my PR hehe), went for my kebaya's measurement and fitting and submitted my Birth cert for translation. It took almost the whole day just to finish all these.
Looking forward to Monday...
REAL LIFE?? Bring it on.... hoho
ps: Ah... had my hair cut today after over 2months haha pps: Anyone going for Indonesian Arts Festival 2007 next Friday? TOMPI boww..... ppps: It's been 1.5 months since I left Ukraine... still missin u guys
The internet connection has been cut off by the owner. What an empty promise huh!
So guys... I'm having difficulty in getting online, MSN-ing, checking my email and not to forget... updating my blog *arghhh.....
And one of the stupid things that happened is that I didn't realize that I switched off the wireless button, and hence I couldn't go online with free Wi-Fi in town. Thanks to Erwin for reminding me of this 'button'.
So now here I am, at the airport, sitting by myself. My mom just entered the Immigration counter half an hour ago. I choose to stay and do my things.
Great friends: Garick and his bro, Marvin 'Papi ayam', Derry and Teddy. Too bad didn't manage to meet Andryan the-new-rocker-in-town hehe Tong was in Jakarta too for 3 days...hope you like it!
and...
DOGGIE
Anwyay, I watched 3 movies in 2 days: Ratatouille, Rush Hour 3 and Bourne Ultimatum. It was freaking cheap for a movie on weekdays *hahaha.... Mega Mall's 21 costs you Rp. 15,000.- (less than 3S$). I gotta say... Bourne Ultimatum is a MUST!!!!
I'm starting work on Monday... Geez, excited excited *haha. But the thought of having to wake up early in the morning and a travel trip to work that may take almost 1.5 hour kinda discouraging *lol.
Hey Pong, thanks for the song. Love it to the max :)
Somebody's Me by Enrique Iglesias.
You, do you remember me? Like I remember you? Do you spend your life Going back in your mind to that time?
Because I, I walk the streets alone I hate being on my own And everyone can see that I refell And I'm going through hell Thinking about you were somebody else
[CHORUS] Somebody wants you Somebody needs you Somebody dreams about you every single night Somebody can't breath without you, it's lonely Somebody hopes someday you will see That Somebody's Me That Somebody's Me
How, How could we go wrong It was so good and now it's gone And I pray at night that our paths will soon cross And what we had isn't lost Cause you're always right here in my thoughts
[CHORUS] Somebody wants you Somebody needs you Somebody dreams about you every single night Somebody can't breath without you, it's lonely Somebody hopes someday you will see That Somebody's Me
You'll always be in my life Even if I'm not in your life Because you're in my memory
You, will you remember me?... And before you set me free Oh listen please
Lesson of the day: And as I miss someone dearly... there's always HOPE... maybe they miss me too or maybe I am someone's world *whatever will be will be... Que Sera Sera...
Hm... see, I have been out of my real Home Sweet Home since I was 14. My sis and I were in Penang, Malaysia for our hi-skul education. We did not plan to study abroad at such an early age, but the political and security issue back in our home country forced us to fly away. So, there we were in a foreign land by ourselves.
We rented a room with the other 2 friends, and in total there were 6 of us in a house. Our auntie -landlady- stayed next door. She is a really nice person, I admit. We learned to be independent ever since, especially when I am the oldest one in the 'family' I also have to take care of my new siblings *haha and be responsible of them. Although we had the whole house for us, but the ground floor was used as an office in the morning. Yeah... it was more of a 'home' compared to some other accommodation that came after that, but it's still an incomplete 'home'.
So, four year after we first arrived in Penang, I graduated and was admitted to NTU - Singapore. Again, I had to spend another 4 years in the University. It was merely a room in NTU also, where I had to share the pantry and restroom with the other occupants.
Now, I am sharing a room with my sis. We rent a room in one of the HDB in Toa Payoh. It's a pretty small room for the two of us *or maybe coz I have too much things after my slightly over 4-year stay. We shared the pantry and the toilet. Most of the time, we choose to stay in our room and do our own things.
Hence, I am missing the feeling of having a real home.
A place where I can have my own room and decorate it nicely according to my style. A place where I can cook whatever I want, and not just soup or noodles. A place where I can have the TV for my own *hahaha* A place where rules are meant to be broken A place where I don't have to worry being kicked out or when the lease is going to expire A place where I can sit in the living room comfortably without fear of someone coming in and scold me A place where I don't have to listen to those calculative acts A place where I can invite my friends along A place where I can proudly say, "Hey... let's come to my place!"
09.24 Called Zuji.com.sg to check on my reservation issue 09.32 Called OCBC to check my debit card problem in accordance to Zuji.com.sg booking 09.40 Re-called Zuji.com.sg to get my reservation done *phew... apparently, the expiry date was wrong and thus the booking couldn't be done till they receive a notification from the bank 09.48 Logged-in to My Zuji to finalize my booking *done..yippee 09.56 Rushed to take my shower *byur byur...

15.45 On the MRT to Bugis and I was soundly asleep 16.30 Ready for my Hip Hop class *tsah.... 17.35 Gym gym gym *but I ain't shedding any fats, why? Ow... the gym session only made me lose 1 ounce haha
17. 55 Showered and packed up 18.20 Walked my way to Suntec City from Bugis *geez... I never knew it's not that far away -__-' 19.00 Waited for Melissa, Amy and Jing for dinner 20.00 Parkie joined us too *yeah yeah...
21.00 Sipped my Lychee Martini at Loof while catching up with Pixi 21.25 Took pics with Amy and Jing after watching the firework show 22.00 We're drop dead too tired after a day full of work and running around, so decided to leave. Yet some of them continued to Insomnia *I'm sorry...not my cup of tea and I am broke!! 22.10 Waited for Nophie at the MRT Station *it's awfully crowded because of the firework show
Finally, I reached home at around 11pm. Shoo... I am exhausted now, and I still have to think of tomorrow's ice-breaking games. 10 Korean AIESECers are in town for a study tour. Hope it's gonna be FUN tomorrow :)
On a side note, my sis had her CEO's farewell party while I had my own gathering. She did a great job in organizing the event... and she won the Best Dressed and was pursued even by the CEO *haha... and some cute guys at the office too heh!... So proud of you ^^v
So yeah... hope everything goes smoothly, hope everything falls into its place, and let's hope for the best.
My life is brilliant.
Dear PH, it's really really great to talk to you again *altho virtually* ... Am on the cloud nine now. Ochin kruta!

Imagine that everytime you see a Panda or Panda's eyes, or talk about it.... You end up laughing your throat out. I think I am gonna start that now :) *hahaha
The story was that I was chatting with a very special Ukrainian friend last night on MSN. He told me that the Exec Boards haven't slept since the day before as they were busy preparing for Ukraine's recruitment stuffs, including him for sure. Cool heh! (Hint: Ukraine's capital, Kiev, is bigger than Singapore. So... preparing for whole AIESEC in Ukraine for me is really cool).
Based on my experience, when he's tired, his eyes are gonna be droopy and I can clearly see his Panda eyes below *haha..peace man! So, throughout the brief chat, I couldn't stop projecting his face with huge Panda eyes... haha just like the one above. I showed him the pic.... in which he replied: "Ow.. you get the pic before I do. I owe you this time." *hahaha... isn't it cute??? I simply couldn't stop laughing *in silence, coz my sis was sleeping*... But it was seriously HILARIOUS.
Thanks for making my day dude! I owe you again heh... Good luck for the recruitment and the DT.CEED.UA project.
ps: Yah... it worths more than 2 cups of coffee *or Frappucino from *bucks haha
Hmph... let's start with me traveling all the way to NTU to settle my bank loan *geez, why did I have to queue?* today as I couldn't do it yesterday because I did not bring my passport *heyloo... the lady did not tell me this at all*. So, I finished the business and headed to Lee Wee Nam library to find Lele.
Hey yeah... Nophie and I finished reading the Indonesian book, Kambingjantan, in a few days time. Pretty fast heh! Lai..lai..lai.. we welcome more books!
We talked for a while and then I had to go to our AIESEC NTU booth. It was our 2nd day of Recruitment Fair in NTU. I quickly packed my Chicken Curry Don and headed there. Met the EBs and members, and even Siew Yik-NUS-, Kenny-SMU- and Celine -SMU-. Cool man! I love it when we are there for each other :) B.O.N.D.I.N.G hahaha
And then Lele came to visit the booth. OMIGOD, she just received So You Think You Can Dance season 3 episode 1 - 17. Wahahaha surely, I copied all them onto my external HDD. Thanks muchie Lele!
But the greatest satisfaction came during the NTU Welcome Tea. The OC deserves a round of applause. The Exec Boards and @ers were so helpful and encouraging, the crowd was crazy enough, and we had Cecilia, Tong, Devi, Jing Wen, Reinhard, Celine, Alina to pay us a visit *and some of them presented too*.
I like the feeling when I knew I had done my best. My presentation was a bit technical coz I covered what AIESEC is, AIESEC Experience, our culture, our learning, and a lil bit of my own @XP. I tried my best to make it fun and easy to comprehend, I hope they understood me well enough *haha*. It's just great to be able to help out and contribute still, despite my fresh Alumni status. I love the feeling, the bonding, the lame jokes, the rollcalls on the stage, the free banana fritters and curry puff *hihi* and the chance to meet some more senior @ers. It's really great to see you guys there ^^
Ah.. anyway, I had my Bahasa Indonesia test today. It was FUN. The senior stewardess is from Indonesia too and she's very friendly. We even talked about the job and she gave me some advices and shared some stories too. She has been in S*A for 11 years. WOW... It was so comfy to talk to her that I feel like I was actually talking to a friend of mine *serious mode*. "It's just great to be able to speak Indonesian and meeting someone who speaks your language too," she adds. COOL!!
So, how was the test itself?
Selamat siang Bapak-bapak dan Ibu-ibu, tanda sabuk pengaman telah dipadamkan. ....
I had to recite the whole paragraph that she read out, pretending I was making an announcement onboard. Hoohoho.. I nailed it down.
"It's perfect. Convincing and confident, and this is what we're looking for." *smug face*
Okie then, she said she would help us to process it faster *It may take up to 2-month for Indonesians acc to her*. So, I can only say THANKS MUCHIE, and see you soon.
ddee: ah...what's in ur nick? ddee: love.... who? what? when? where? how? Figurist (I love ...): he he ddee: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ddee: curiosity kills haha Figurist says: dont die Figurist says: plz ddee: *bonk emoticon Figurist: ;) ddee: a pretty girl? Figurist says: no ddee: hm... ddee: a new hobby? Figurist: just leave it ddee: ahhh....whyyy? pochemu? ....
and the conversation continued...
The point is: To fall in love with our lives and to fall in love in lives
Yeah.. I wish you all the very best in your life journey, may you're surrounded with much love *and hope the falls do not result in much pain :)
It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. I
t is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.”
How can I not love the beauty it offers?
How can I neglect the divine painted sky?
How can I not dream of the sunrise and sunset?
How can I not amazed by the hands of God?
How can I let this go?
never...
Another reason why I love Ukraine so much :)
I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.

*Jumping around like a monkey* I finished my romance novel, Mirror Mirror by Betsy von Furstenberg.
*Jumping around like a frog* I bought a new games book to train my soon-getting-rusty brain, The Little Book of Sudoku.
*Jumping around like a combo of a monkey and a frog plus a kangaroo* I am ecstatic to finally get myself another great book. Inspired by Freedom Fighters, I bought The Diary of Anne Frank *yippeee....* I hope it would turn out really really inspiring and motivating. I'd love to know more about the Holocaust itself and reading it from a personal experience would definitely make it much more alive and interesting yet saddening too. Now it starts to remind me of my trip to one of the concentration camps in Gdanks, Poland. I can sense the pain, fear and sorrow when I stepped onto the camp. The movie shown was .... err *indescribable feeling.

It's Singapore's National Day today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!
That means it is a holiday, and a holiday means my sister is free to hang out *haha* So we went to search for a special gift and yeah... we found it found it found it *I just have to repeat 3x to show how happy I am*. After which we donated some money to the shops *hihi* and received a pair of shoes and 3 necklaces in return.
Awh... Nophie brought me to a new Indo restaurant at Far East (she has never tried it herself). P*ndok Jawa Timur was empty when we arrived (and departed). Doubt for the taste?? we dared ourselves and went in. I ordered nasi campur (rice, fried diced potato in sambal, steamed long beans, chicken curry, boiled egg, and most importantly... TWO types of chili ^^) and she ordered Soto Ayam (chicken soto). Beverages? Ice Lemon Tea and Squeezed Lime Juice.
The food was yummy... the chili was nice, not as spicy as another Indo restaurant at Lucky Plaza -___-''... but too bad, we didn't feel satisfied after the meal. Unsure if it was the portion, or the steep price *haha. It was delicious, I admit, but forking S$17.50 for 2 person for such meal... hm.. not really an option in the future *wiggling my finger in front of your face lol
To complete the meal, almost 3 hours after that b-fast cum lunch cum dinner, I indulged myself in Sotong head and Chicken in Wrap from Ol* C*ang K*e while sister savoured her ice creams.
A knock on my head reminds me that I have to exercise more tomorrow. Here I come gym!! *sigh...
Ah, finally I got to meet Venessa again after *hm..lemme count... since hi-skul?* wow... 5 years? She was in Singapore for a short transit, so we met up, had lunch and they did some shopping *not me...I'm literally BROKE. She has not changed much, I can still recognize her easily *hehe* still a girl with the same characters. Great time catching up and updating our lives although it was a brief encounter.
Have a safe flight dear!
Venessa under the Bugis sign *hehe..
and the gank...
make sure u guys do a proper pose this time!!
ps: It's great to be involved in AIESEC Welcome Tea *gosh.. reminds me of a year ago when I panicked over my NTU Welcome Tea huhu
pps: Hey Pong, nice catching up with you again... in person! haha cieee...yg da kerja haha
It's really a pain in the neck to find a nice affordable place to stay. Not that the current room that I shared with my sista is awful, it's pretty decent actually. But... looking at how the owners raise the price and we have to pay for our own Internet (means extra cost on top of the raise), as well as the distance to our 'working places' (nothing is confirmed for me as of now.. but I'm hopeful hihihi)... maybe we should find a place that is far more convenient for the two of us.
So.... I am not simply whining here, I am looking for some 'lobang'.
Here are the details:
Location: Tiong Bahru - Tampines (as long as strategically located, i.e.: near MRT, bus stops, eateries)
Budget: max SGD 550 (quite reasonable right?)
Furnished with air-con and internet
Size: not too small for our props (current size is around 4m x 4m, and I dont think we have enough space for our stuffs hahaha)
Clingy, emotional, and very private - it's hard to escape a Cancer's clutches. And while Cancer will want to know everything about you, they're anything but open in return.
Instead try dating: Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, or Aquarius
Waks..I shouldn't date my own 'people'. Am I too clingy, emotional and very private? Moody and stubborn, yeah I admit these two *hihi And not opening up in return? hm... for heaven's sake, I have no idea.
So, any Leo, Sagita, Gemini or Aqua here? wahahaha... Nop, I can date u *wink wink
She told me that I have yet to finish the whole recruitment process (Geez... after 5 stages of tests and a review, followed up with filling up the S-pass form and a medical check-up). They need to assess my Bahasa Indonesia fluency, so there will be a phone interview by a senior stewardess. And till I receive an official offer in black and white and put down my signature on the contract, I am NOT in and part of them. What???
Maybe I should start reading more articles in Bahasa Indonesia and not English and converse in a much proper language and start rehearsing 'Welcome to ... . Thank you for .... balblablablabla...' in Bahasa too. So that when I receive that call, I'll go...
